The Trojans released Skalalitude in 1991, legendary trombonist Rico Rodriguez & Belle Stars singer Jenny Matthias joined the band in the studio for some sessions.
Uptempo ska gems like Happy Go Lucky & Mixed Feelings appear on the album, while classics like Birth of A Hooligan & I Saw My Baby shows just how easy it is for Gaz Mayall to write a toe tapping tune.
A video was shot for Brother Can You Spare Me A Pound on the streets of London, & again the single led the way for the band to appear on national music channels.
The Trojans find it easy for releasing jolly get up & dance music, & this mega 16 track album still finds itself played on my stereo to this day.
